Still here, and WAY excited!

Okay, we've been busy - Just like the rest of the world! So I have some "catch-up" posts to work on. For now, here are a few tidbits of information.

The reason for my excitement is that I recently discovered Picasa as a photo editing program! I'm too poor for Photoshop right now, and not confident that I could figure it out even if I had it. But this is easy, with all the 'tricks' I wanted to try. So look forward to some photo fun on my next posts!

Little John is totally off of the pacifier! Cutting some of the tip off every day worked like a charm! There was minimal crying involved, and he stopped asking for it all together! I think it was a revelation to him that he could sleep without it. (Okay, so maybe I was a little more amazed than he was). Now we have a few other "bad habits" to tackle. I'm getting up the courage.

We went to Ohio to visit family and had an awesome time! I won't say much because I want to post on the whole trip. The only bummer was that we forgot to bring the power cord to my laptop home with us! I've been missing it! But it's okay, we'll get it back this weekend. YES!!!

I have a new calling in our ward...(drum roll)...1st Counselor in the Young Women Presidency! I'm really excited about it, and have been using it as an excuse to get organized, finally! My husband doesn't believe me, but I'll show him!

And to help my Organizing efforts I am going to build this for myself. Okay, so maybe that won't happen any time soon. It's always good to have a dream though! Any encouragement would be much appreciated!
