Cutting out the Pacifier

It's official. We are trying to break our little boy of his pacifier habit. He only uses it for naps and bedtime, but it's time...right? I've been in denial, but lately I am realizing the inevitable. My baby boy is growing up! Well lets be totally honest, I've always known he was growing up, I just didn't want it to happen. So the change here is that I am becoming 'more ready' for him to do this "growing up" thing. If it means no more midnight searches for pacifier and having less diapers to change, I suppose it's worth it. I can handle this...as long as he still asks for hugs.

Noah was cutting his last set of molars right after he turned two and would use his pacifier as like a teether...he eventually chewed through it. We had him through it away so that he would remember doing it. It wasn't exactly fun the first week or so, but after that they ask for it less and less-it is definitely worth it.
