A Bushel and a Peck

 Hanging out in trees...

Sharing yummy apples...

And being super cute!

It's apple pick'n time! And I love it! One day I will have apple trees and a pumpkin patch. I feel it in my bones. In preparation I am finally learning exactly what "bushel" and "peck" mean.

Bushel : A dry measure, containing four pecks, eight gallons (36.4 L), or thirty-two quarts

Peck : A unit of dry measure, eight quarts or one fourth of a bushel

If you can't get out for your own bushel or peck don't worry, here's something that will make you just as happy! (this was the best recording, the tribute to Doris Day is nice too).

Hi Jamie!

You won the scrapbook supply gift pack on my blog last week. Could you please e-mail me your mailing info so I can forward it on to the sponsor?
