Patience is a Virtue

And so I sit here, waiting...patiently. Well, John might not think I've been all that patient, but considering the circumstances I feel I'm doing pretty good! I know we have yet to come to the "due date" but it seems to me that if we actually make it to that day it will be only to easy to pass it! And we don't want that!
I've decided that this little baby must be more like his father. I've always been quick, and sometimes even too eager to get on with big projects or what have you. One the other hand, John will wait to do something until he is good and ready, no matter how much pushing or prodding from those around him. Now we have little John, no matter how many times I tell him we are ready and he needs to get moving, or how many walks I take, or loads of laundry I carry up the stairs (or bathroom breaks I have to run upstairs for), or my frequent snacking on peppermint treats (I recently heard peppermint helps "things" along), he is just not coming until he is "good and ready".
I guess I can handle that, for about 3 more days, then I don't know what I'll do!! I was told by a friend at church today that if he doesn't come on the 17th we should have a party anyway-just to celebrate the fact that we made it that far! Sounds good to me!
