Five days since my last day of "work", and so far I have managed to keep busy. As celebration on Thursday John took me out to lunch. Little did I know that he planned a whole day out afterward! We went to a couple of our favorite stores, the dollar movies to see Enchanted! (John suffered through it well :) Next we picked up Chinese for dinner and stopped at the library for our next reading adventure. What a great husband I have! I love him! It was a fun day, and I was oh so tired by the end of it!
Friday I spent with Mom, Lindsey, and Nathan. It was liberating to not have to worry about getting to work on time...or at all! :)
Saturday was different. John and I went to class, Birthing class. It was the first of 2 Saturday sessions, lasting 5 hours! I was a little worried for John in the beginning. He has a very active and detailed imagination when it comes to things like this, but he did very well and toward the end seemed to be more comfortable with the somewhat graphic photos provided. At one point I myself became a little queasy! I think because it was so much information about a painful process that I am about to go through! Don't get me wrong! All this information is good and I feel more prepared as I try to wrap my brain around it, it's just that my body is a little slower in accepting its fate!
It is so strange to think that we only have about 4 more weeks left before we become parents! He can come early, or late, we just don't know! How crazy!
In the mean time we need to kick into high gear and get ready! Pack "the bag", talk with the Pediatrician, finish fixing the crib, try to figure out the car seat, organize things that I know we won't get to later, sleep (because we won't be able to do that later either!), and breath! Hee, hee, hee, whooo!
Just thinking about it makes me tired! I better get used to this feeling. I'm sure it will be my constant companion in the near future.
Anyway, life goes on, and it's good!

Hahaha :D The breathing game was fun :P The teacher asked the husbands to pick a number for the wifes to breath to so I picked 56. Right before I told Jamie the teacher said don't pick a number that is over 6.
When he did pick 6 I couldn't make it! We'll have to stick with 4!
