I read a great little book this week called "As A Man Thinketh" by James Allen. It's barely over 50 pages and so could be read in one day (it took me three), and basically reminds us of many things we already know. Our minds are great tools in changing circumstance and outcome, and attitude is key when it comes to the quality of life we lead! Read it! It's a good one!
Another week has passed, and it's Easter! Happy Easter to all! We were able to spend some time with family so it was awesome! I'm so glad Lory and Nicole made the trip over, despite their super busy schedule and the crazy amount of 'Spring' snow! We always love to see them! I am the luckiest girl to have such wonderful family on mine and Johns side!
This week has gone by well. No worries or alarms to report about the baby. We spent some time serving at the Bishops Storehouse Tuesday night and I loved it! It was so great to get a closer look at how that aspect of the church works and blesses lives. The next big event for me was R.S. Enrichment Thursday night. I was signed up to bring soup, and so happy to put something together and bring it to share. I arrived at 7:00, like my little event flier said, and turns out that the eating part started at 6:30. Hmmm, a draw back of being in Nursery I suppose, we tend to miss the important stuff. Oh well, I had a whole pot of soup to bring back and give John, he really appreciated it. :)
I got to go to Ikea on Friday with Mom, Lindsey and Nathan! What a huge place! I like going there because you get a good workout while looking at all the cool stuff.
John and I finished the birthing class Saturday. We made it through the "gruesome" movies of women giving birth, without too many queasy moments. There were 4 different clips and at a certain moment in each one I had to fight back tears. When these women were in such pain and working so hard to get their babies out into the world I became aware of how much love we can have for our children! We sacrifice and go through so much even before we meet them, and then we actually do meet them and it is wonderful! Yes, I am still quite scared of the unknown pain but I am trying to stay focused on the outcome, and the fact that so many have gone through this before me. If they can do it, I can do it! (This is my pep talk, I repeat it every now and then! :)
So, one more week of March, one more week closer to "labor" day. I've had thoughts and worries of him coming either early or late, mostly early! Anyone want to take a guess? We can see who is closest! "Due date" is the 17th!

Few things, the soup was great I ate almost all of it. The video on the c-section I had to not watch so much that light headedness was coming.
Now as for my guess. I'll say the 10th. Reason being the little guy will be to excited to see his mom and dad and will want to come early. :D
That would be great! I wouldn't mind an early delivery! Lets see, I think I'll guess right on the due date, the 17th, just because things have been going so "normal".
Wade forwarded the blog to me and I think it is great I will be reading and keeping tabs of all the fun things you guys are doing. My guess id the 22 of April only because then we will be back from Utah and then we can come see you when you are settled into your house. I will make cake for the winner of who is on the right day. I think that the picture of John and you is so great. You guys look so happy.
Lindsey, you rock!!
When I win I would like Strawberry Cake... I mean if I win... :D
