Seconds

As many of you know, we are pregnant!
With John starting school, and our current inability to be totally independent we thought "Oh, why not!". No, really, we went into this more seriously than that. I recently read something that gives me comfort - "you don't have children with money, you have children with faith". And so we go forward with faith.

I am about 12 weeks along. Still pretty early, but so far so good. This time around is different, in that I have been totally nauseous and exhausted for more than 2 months straight. Ugh! So the place has been a mess for about that long, and we're lucky if we can find something clean to wear. Obviously it has affected my blogging and other on-line updates. At times I thought I would write a little something, but knew it would only be complaints about my inabilities or just feeling gross. Didn't seem worth telling.

Thankfully I have been feeling better by degrees, and am hopeful that this 'grossness' won't last much longer. I know they say every pregnancy is different, but these heightened symptoms have us wondering...do we have a little girl in the makings? I tease John with the word "twins", but am fairly confident that's not the case. I don't think I'd be strong enough!

We are excited for this new addition to our family. Although we have awhile to wait, it has already increased our joy. It makes me smile to think of what a great "big brother" little John will be. :)
