I know, I know...

it's been awhile. I just haven't been in the blogging mood lately. I feel like I have been quite busy, but I'm not sure I've actually done much. Oh well! Every day is new! I thought I would try to re-cap on things we have been doing for the past week and a half, but I don't think that would be very interesting. Suffice it to say that on the nice days we went outside, on the not-so nice days we went to the library. In any case we HAVE to get up and go somewhere! Little John loves to "go". As soon as I put his shoes on he starts waving "bye" and gets very upset if I walk in any direction other than the door! I don't mind, it breaks the day up.

One thing that has been on my mind is the 5K run that I am doing this Saturday at the Toledo Zoo! My sister-in-law and I have both signed up and I fully expect her to pass me by with her awesomeness! Unfortunately I haven't prepared myself as I should have. Do I really think that I will be able to run/jog 3 miles by then? I don't know. Right now I can go for almost 2, with a break of walking in the middle, so I feel pretty good about that. I never thought I could jog for 5 minutes together so I'm pretty much amazed by how far I've come! If I have to walk allot this Saturday I will still wear my t-shirt proudly!

So yesterday was Mother's Day. I had the idea to dedicate a post to my mother, and I think I still will. It is the topic for this Wednesday's "Wordfull Wednesday". Sorry Mom! You'll have to wait a little longer!
As for me, I had a good day. Very much on the "normal" side, but that's okay with me. However, I REALLY enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries that the men of our church prepared for the women. So nice of them!

Anyway, I now feel the urge to tidy things up a bit so I guess I'll go. I wouldn't usually do such a thing so late into the evening but who can argue with "the urge"!
