Well, we stared off this week as big spenders! Not for anything fun, just some needed car repair. Bye bye tax return! Oh well, now we don't have to worry about the brakes going out on us. That's always a good thing. :)
Before coming home from the car shop I took little John to the horse barn I used to work at, Fox Meadow Farm. It was so strange to see some of the "girls" that used to hang around all the time, still there, much more advanced in their riding skills and horse know-how than I ever was. I had forgotten how stepping into the barn was really like stepping into another world. A world all about horses--your ability to care for them and handle them. It's just so easy to forget worries when you're around these huge beautiful animals. I'm so glad Heavenly Father thought of them!
Today little John and I went to the library. The childrens area was pretty much empty so we had fun playing with the toys and activities available there. We made it over to the shelves with the board books but couldn't stay, he kept pulling the books out! Still no independent crawling or walking but I'm sure it won't be long.
Also today, I watched "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2", loved it! And I just realized, Twilight comes out on DVD this month!

Dirk is allergic to horses. It is really kind of sad since my sister-in-law lives on a horse farm. I don't know anything about horses, and I feel kind of sad about that.
I just rented Twilight, and I liked Sisterhood of the Traveling pants! :)
