My Valentine

My Valentine's Day would not be complete if I didn't steal a kiss from my little man!
He is good to take his mothers' kisses so well!

Other than documenting the above kiss our day was pretty normal. The craziest thing I did was to take advantage of the recent snow-fall by making a snow angel! It's a great thing to do if you ever need to feel like a kid again. In truth it wasn't my idea. My best Australian buddy requested it (they are very hot down there right now), and I couldn't say no!
It was much more comfortable laying there than I thought it would have been. If I had had some gloves on I wouldn't have yelled at John so much to hurry with the picture taking! As you can imagine he was having a good chuckle at his silly wife and trying to catch every angle of the event. When I finished I looked down at my "angel" and felt very accomplished to have created something so beautiful. I need to play in the snow more often.

The rest of my day consisted of cleaning and laundry...lots of laundry.
Not the most romantic thing, I know, but it had to be done. We did have some chocolates though, which is a must for V Day, and I had fun surprising my husband with a fancy drink of "Italian Soda". I was so proud of them that I had to take a picture.

John sweetly asked if we should clear the table off (something I would usually do) but all I could say was
'no, this is our life'. It is so true! A little table that is constantly cluttered with things we use daily, random things that don't stay for very long, and sometimes something beautiful and fun graces the tabletop. I say "sometimes" for the table but every day of my life has something beautiful to celebrate. A messy table is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of!
Just let me know before you drop in!

Hahaha trying to take a steady photo of your wife swimming backwards in the snow is a very hard thing to do :P Or was she making a snow angel?
