Well, I actually went to bed early last night, like at 9:00! Mostly because I was bushed from a very full day (compared to my usual days at least). We spent some time at my parents Ward in Monroe so we could be there for the baptism of a friend. Of course little John was the star of our trio as friends commented on how cute (and big) he is. I could only agree and feel as proud as any mother does while showing off her children. :)
The baptism itself was really great. We were so happy we could be there to share the moment!
The next adventure was to visit with a friend that I haven't seen for years! Wow, it was good to see her! THEN, I was able to see my new niece! It was so wonderful to hold her and introduce myself to her, she's beautiful! And so tiny and light! A very strange sensation after holding my 20 pound boy. :)
So we got home late, and tired, but very happy. Our friends and family really do enrich our lives. Thank you all!
