Can you feel it? Or is it just me?
I'm not talking "President-elect" change either. Although, it will be interesting to see where that "change" leads us.
I know every year brings something new, but 2009 feels exciting to me. Opportunities? Personal achievements? Growth? Learning? I'm sure all such experiences will be abundant, we'll just have to wait for the details!
In the mean-time, we have very recently had a wonderful weekend with James and Stephanie! Little John just loves to see his Aunt and Uncle! Of course he was the Star, providing most of the entertainment for the family. Stephanie and I may have created a new tradition of making appetizers for a Christmas meal. This year was a Feta cheese and Artichoke dip, along with a bean and sour cream dip. Yummy! If I had taken a picture I would post it, but I didn't, so I won't.
Actually that's my one regret of the whole weekend, not taking enough pictures! The first picture worthy opportunities went by as the camera charged (oops), then I went kind of crazy and took a ton of pictures of little John in his cute Christmas outfit (refer to Picture of the Week). I even went a step further, asking Uncle James to take a family picture for us (finally!). So I guess allot of pictures were taken, the basis of my regret is that the Aunt and Uncle and Grandparents aren't in any of them! Bummer.
Anyway, we had a blast and are oh so grateful for such wonderful family.
