Today I am thankful for washing machines!
What a fantastic invention! Of course sometimes a little spot cleaning is necessary, but as I threw some soap and a bunch of clothes in the washer today I thought of all the "pioneer" women that had to do all laundry by hand! (No wonder they didn't wash much :) So much has changed. Not only does the machine do all the dirty work (literally) but men do laundry too! What a great world we live in!
