Happy November!

What a wonderful month!
Diets can go out the window with little distress because the food is plentiful, comforting, yummy, and lets face it-everyone is eating it! Let us remember though, moderation in all things. (We'll see if I'm thinking that when Nov. 27th rolls around!).
Of course I love the season and the food, but I also love the idea of dedicating a whole month to feelings and expressions of thankfulness. I am determined to actively look for the blessings in my life and somehow show my gratitude.

To further commit to the cause I will post every day this month with "Thankful Thoughts".
I'm excited! Please don't hesitate to get in on the action!

Today (and every day) I am grateful for my son.
Yes, this may be obvious, but it is a wonderful thing to slow down and think about and feel that gratitude. I am his mother, he depends on me and his dad for everything, and he loves us! After a frustrating night of not much sleep it is still so beautiful and fulfilling to hear him wake up in the morning. To peak over the edge of his crib and see the his whole face take part in the curve of his smile. He kicks his legs in excitement, blows a raspberry and reaches up. Irresistible!
What are you thankful for?
