Learning experience

It is taking me awhile to realize all that I can do with this blog (add-ons and all that fancy stuff), but I think I'm doing pretty good. Mostly I see what other people are doing on theirs, wonder if I can do cool stuff like that too, and then do some investigation. It's a slow process at times, oh well! Anyway, I hope you (you know who you are) enjoy the little slide show of random photos I put together for the heck of it!

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish a Happy Independence Day to all! We really should try to enjoy a happiness and pride in our beautiful country for more than one day, at least the whole month! I don't think I have ever really taken this holiday seriously before now. With rising prices, huge job loss, and an overall insecurity casting its shadow I feel inclined to be grateful for the many years that have been so prosperous and the hope we can still have in America and what it stands for. Freedom, right, truth, hard work, education, ability...all good things. Some of which may seem to be slipping in todays society, but for the most part I think we continue to do good. We could always do better, I'm sure I'm not the only one who knows that. :)

Anyway, tomorrow will be a beautiful day with family, celebrating the birth of our independence.
Horay for the Red, White and Blue!
